The Anniversary editions are special editions of Playstation 4, Playstation 5 Slim, And Playstation 5 Pro.
They are colored specially to celebrate year milestones of the original Playstation. Nothing Else About The Consoles are Different.
History[]
PlayStation 4 Anniversary Edition[]
On December 3rd, 2014, Sony Computer Entertainment announced the anniversary edition of Playstation 4, which was a normal PS4 Console Colored Like The Original Playstation, With a grey body and colorful PlayStation logo. It retailed for $499 ($614 with inflation).
PlayStation 5 30th Anniversary Collection[]
On October 27th, 2024, Sony Interactive Entertainment announced the Playstation 30th Anniversary Collection, Consoles and peripherals with the same color scheme as the PS4 anniversary edition, Including the PS5 Slim And Pro Anniversary Editions. The Slim Retailed For $500, and the Pro Retailed for $999, And Do Not Include A Disc Drive by Default (But Come With a cover for the disc drive to match the color), and immediately sold out due to scalping, needing a restock.
