Assassin's Creed Origins is an action-RPG video game, developed by Ubisoft Montréal and published by Ubisoft on 27 October 2017.
Plot[]
Most of the game takes place in Ptolemaic Egypt (49–43 BC), where a Medjay named Bayek of Siwa together with his wife Aya explore the origins of the millennia-long conflict between the Hidden Ones, forerunners to the Assassin Brotherhood, and the Order of the Ancients, forerunners to the Templar Order.
The narrative also includes sequences set in 2017 AD, and follows Layla Hassan, who works as a researcher for Abstergo Industries.
