CounterSpy is a PlayStation exclusive that was one of the featured games in PLAY 2014 on the PlayStation Store. It is a 2D side-scroller with randomly generated levels.
Story[]
While no exact story mode, the game does feature a story. The game takes place in a alternative Cold War period where the 2 main superpowers of the world (The United States of America and Soviet Russia), are planning to nuke the moon. The player is told he must steal the plans from both superpowers. There are 5 fvie main themes of the 5 stages of the plans:
- Stealing the plans to the rocket schematics
- Stealing the plans to the rocket trajectories
- Stealing the plans to the launch codes
- Stealing the radio frequencies that control the rockets
