Internet Browser is a system software application featured on all PlayStation consoles since the PSP.

PlayStation Portable[]

The PSP's Internet Browser is a version of the NetFront browser made by Access Co. Ltd. It was released in 2005 with the 2.00 system software update.

The browser supports a few common web technologies, like HTTP cookies, forms, CSS and basic JavaScript capabilities. Firmware 2.50 later added Unicode (UTF-8) character encoding and auto-select as options in the browsers encoding menu and it also inroduced the saving of input history for online forms. Firmware 2.70 added basic Flash capabilities to the browser, however, as it only runs Flash Player 6.

The browser also has very limited tabbed browsing and a maximum of three tabs can be open in the browser at any one time.
