LittleBigPlanet is a series of games created by Media Molecule and Sony Computer Entertainment. The main draw is that most of the games allow for creation of custom levels and allow you to customize your Sackboy playable character to however you want to look like. The creation tools became more advanced as the series progressed, with LittleBigPlanet 2 being described in advertising as a "platform for games" as a play off the platformer game genre the series usually is.
Unfortunately, the servers for the games have been shut down, leaving players unable to upload levels or play other player's levels. Sackboy: A Big Adventure is a spin-off game which doesn't allow for creation of levels.
The series has a spiritual successor in Dreams, which is a full 3D content creation game.
