The PSP go, also known by its codename PSP-N1000, is a revision of the PlayStation Portable. This model was released on 1 October 2009 in North America and Europe, and the following month in Japan. It was discontinued outside of North America in 2011, and two years later in 2013 in North America.
The PSP go has the normal PlayStation controller buttons, but the PS button has been moved over to the top of the PSP go.
This model does not have a Universal Media Disc drive, making it incompatible with all physical UMD games and films. Instead, the user must download media from the PlayStation Store. The PSP go can be closed similar to a Nintendo DS.
