Triple Pack is a series of compilations containing three PlayStation 2 games from Sony Computer Entertainment.
Background[]
Three editions of the Triple Pack were originally released, only in mainland Europe. Two covered the Ratchet & Clank and Jak and Daxter trilogies, while the third was a selection of adventure games: one from each of the aforementioned franchises as well as one game from the Sly Cooper series.
All three collections were released on 18 March 2009 in France[1], Spain and the Netherlands. While in Germany, only the Ratchet & Clank and Jak and Daxter editions were released, two days later on 20 March.[2] In Spain, the Ratchet & Clank set was later re-released, featuring an alternative box art.
The German releases included the PlayStation Platinum editions of each game, while in other countries the original black label releases were used. A similar selection of four games, named the Quattro Pack, was also released in Germany around the same time.
On 18 March, a fourth collection was released in France, compiling games from the Buzz! series.[3] A similar set would be released in Germany later in the year, along with an additional pack of three Buzz! Junior games. Unlike the French release, both packs also included four Buzz! Buzzers.[4]
