The Xross Media Bar (XMB) is a graphicial user interface developed by Sony. It is used to control the PlayStation Portable and PlayStation 3, as well as the PSX (the PlayStation 2 DVR) where it originated. It has also been featured on several other Sony technologies including TVs and camcorders.
It features a side-scrolling function used to go from one section of the system to another. The PSP XrossMediaBar includes the following sections (left to right): Settings, Extras, Photo, Music, Video, Game, Network, and PlayStation Network.
